The University Park Airport (code SCE) is within ten miles of Penn State campus. Three major airlines fly to State College with connection flights to/from major hubs in Philadelphia, Detroit and Washington/Dulles:

BY TRAIN

The nearest Amtrak train stations are 20 miles away in the small towns of Tyrone (TYR) or Lewistown (LEW). There is no public transportation scheduled between these stations and Penn State campus.

BY BUS

Trailways (800-942-8287) and Greyhound (800-229-9424) bus lines each have a terminal in State College, close to campus.

BY TAXI

Taxi services include Taxi by Handy Delivery (814-353-6001), Nittany Taxi (814-867-4646), and Centre County Taxi for Less (814-238-7900).

Parking

The closest parking garage for visitors on campus is the Nittany Parking Deck near the Nittany Lion Inn. Parking is also available in State College Borough garages downtown.
